The Future Score reflects positions that we have taken that have not yet come before both the House and the Senate for votes. The Past Score for incumbents is based on their actual votes. The Future Score for incumbents, as well as the Past and Future Scores for challengers, are based on candidates' answers to our questionnaire.

Comment by Keith Allred about Candidate:
Senator Little has been interested in and supportive of our work from the beginning. We’ve worked particularly closely with him for a couple of years now on the primary election issues. More than any other legislator, Senator Little has shown courage and leadership on this issue. He has understood that Idaho’s open primary is likely to be struck down by the federal court. With little political upside for him, he has exhibited more courage and leadership than any other legislator in working closely with us to pass a modified open primary that would protect independents’ ability to vote in primaries and would also pass constitutional muster. Principled and courageous leadership on behalf of practical solutions s what Senator Little is known for generally.
